Even though I have been involved in Information Technology all of my working career, coordinating the myriad of technical components to have a social presence as an author is more complex than I anticipated. To name a few: Twitter, website, email, newsletter, Facebook, Instagram, … the list goes on. Even though I set up an ‘author’ FB account, when I try to friend folks who already know me, they think my personal FB account has been hacked! And of course, the website needs its own myriad of plug-ins, many of which don’t do what they advertise unless you purchase the pro version with a multi-year subscription!
Oh, am I whining? Yup!
